Was that wrong?

I was cleaning a water backup in a hallway for a long time commercial customer. A very old lady was coming down the hallway asking me a question while I was pre treating the carpet. Now keep in mind we live in PA.
She asked " Are you spraying for ants?" I said no, Scorpions. She said " Oh my that's terrible" and walked off before I could tell her I was kidding. I love telling that joke in the senior homes. Well, back to Monday.
