Does your blower have to warm up?

I run a Powermatic 2100 and lately on the first job after a few days off my blower will act like it's not even running. I mean almost zero suction. Then within the next few minutes it is up to full speed and never slows down again the rest of the day.

Is this normal? What should I do?
