Working with custy's budget

Custy has about 1100 sqft of carpet. Not bad shape. 15 stairs. Sectional, old but good shape. 6' sofa. No removable cushions. I priced $640.

Custy wants to keeps it closer to $400. So do u take off some furniture or just do the visible parts of furn and explain, do less carpet...
