First area rug. Help.

I have a area rug to do tomorrow and it's my first one. Looking for some help as in what's the process and what should I use? I have a M5 portable, 360i and wand. I also have a 175 which is real heavy with mf pads and bonnets. What should I use or should I pass it up? Thanks!
