- When you are behind the van of one of your competitors and see him pull into his shop/home in the afternoon indicating he is probably done for the day (4pm in my case) and you have 5 more jobs to do.
- When one of your competitors advertises in the publication that gets you most of your business in the coming year and you end the year with a 50% increase of sales. The following year that carpet cleaner isn't advertising in said publication anymore.
