Wet/Dry Strokes: Up Wet or Back Wet?

I feel like I'm getting better flush when up dry and back wet. I did a berber job not too long ago where the standard up wet, back dry still looked dirty. I went back over the room going up dry, back wet and the carpet looked much better! Had to go back the next day because of wicking though.

What's your style or thoughts?
