I just got off a chat with my website hosting company and am thoroughly confused. I thought the reason why so many of you post your website URL at the bottom of your posts is for a benefit with Google in back links to your site. The person I chatted with had this to say:
"If you need to sign in or enter a password in order to view a page, it means that Google doesn't know the username or password to sign in. Like your email for example, is not visible to search engines or anybody...
