In Line Pump Out
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a good in line auto pump out? I just purchased a Jaguar MX- Cub and plan to do mostly residentials on the side where I don't mind hauling a few buckets. But for big commercial jobs I plan to have a 30 gallon water tank on wheels to feed from, now I just need a way to pump all that water back out so I can focus more on a good cleaning instead of running to the sink every 10 minutes.

How do I clean the main Trunk line? Hose not rigid enough
I have come back home to run my step-fathers carpet, tile, air duct, and upholstery cleaning company. He is unfortunately in hospice care, and unable to communicate with me. I have plenty of experience in carpet, tile, and upholstery, but have probably only done 15 or so duct cleaning jobs. We have a butler carpet cleaning van with the Air-Care Truckmaster system. My problem is when I am cleaning trunk lines that are 25+ ft long, the trunk line is so wide, and the hoses aren't rigid...

318 over heating water and shutting down
Hi guys. My engine is over heating and cutting out with what seems to be a dema valve issue. There is some hot water dumping into the tank but that only seems to be coming from the thermal valve on the waterbox. The dema valve doesn't seem to be getting any power to it, to open and dump the extremely hot water. The engine was removed recently to replace a crankcase gasket and i wonder if it hasn't been wired up properly. There is also a red wire that my small engine mechanic can't find a...

Warning Notice! Scammers Offering Credit Card Numbers To Carpet Cleaning Companies
Got a call the other day from a very convincing woman who claimed to work for Handy.com. In the conversation, she told me that she was looking for a carpet cleaning company in Oklahoma to take care of a client. She told me that they just wanted to get the job done right away and would be willing to pay a fair market price to meet customer demand. Okay, I have heard this before, so I told her that I would need a credit card number up front and to pre-charge the cleaning price. She was...

I'm raising my minimum to get rid of low end clients
I currently have a minimum of $119 and am considering raising it to $149.. I have found over the past 3 years of being in business that it is just not worth my time to travel to a job, spend 20 min unloading a truck, 15 to load back up to do 3 rooms of carpet that takes a total of 2 hrs total time or more depending on travel for 119 bucks. These clients that ponder what rooms to have done just to meet the minimum usually have the dirtiest carpet requiring the most amount of time and in my...

The new TMF Profire and Starfire Truckmounts! (Vids included)
I’ve always dreamed of building my perfect truck mount, two truck mounts actually, a 1-Wand and 2-Wand system. But why? Because I was tired of stinky, unreliable, and under-powered machines that rotted out in a few years. As a cleaner of 40 years, I know how damaging downtime can be. Most todays machines are over engineered, filled with proprietary parts, and low quality components. This leads to ridiculous downtime in repair shops, mechanics who can’t even fix many units, lost wages, and...

Procyon has a new CRB encap machine
http://soapfreeprocyon.com/index.php/product/encapsulation-system/
.......for only 3900.00...Really? Thats all this industry needs another overpriced CRB. This one is $3900.00, Brush Pro is $3100, Australian made TM4 $2100....Sebo is basically a toy CRB so I do not consider it.
To me these CRBs seem to cost a lot of cash for a motor turning 2 brushes.

Orbot Vibe Travertine Help
I am doing my first attempt at polishing travertine using the Vibe and Stone Flash 5 step system. I started by cleaning the grout with Groutmaster and then I did about 3 passes of each step from 1 through 5, cleaning in between and finishing with a neutral pH cleaner with a floor scrubber. I haven't achieved a high gloss/polished appearance. The stone does look good when wet but dulls when dry. Prior etching, roughness and any other irregularities all are gone. I don't have a gloss...

Just Starting - Package Reccomendation
Good afternoon all,
I have really enjoyed so many of the threads. Need some advice from you seasoned professionals! We are planning to offer carpet cleaning/tile cleaning as a branch of our existing housekeeping business. We want to start small and grow it. I see so many "packages" online. I was hoping someone here could narrow it down and point me in the right direction. Our housekeeping business is a "green" cleaner doing 60k/mo in revenue. We have the ability to scale quickly but...

How does a web-based system have centralized security?
As web apps are installed on web servers, security is controlled by an IT professional. That avoids sensitive corporate information being held on many local client PCs, which are not as secure. Employees can access data when they are away from the office via a web application. So, it is not necessary for data to be held anywhere other than the secure central location.
Web-based systems make it easier to provide access to real-time information. The paper reports that might take days to...

Insuring the truck
Hey Everybody,
I am from Pembroke. I had started a textile business a year ago. The business was going well. Recently, we have extended our branch to Ottawa. But the problem is we felt difficulties in transporting clothes stocks. So I have bought a truck to make the transportation easier and get the stock distribution done smoothly within time. One of my friends suggested insuring the truck as soon as possible as it is dangerous to drive trucks on Canadian roads and there are more...
