Lagler or Bona?

Hi Guys

Right now i am using Bona Belt as my main dustless floor sander but i heard that Lagler is the real thing. Most floor sanding companies in Ireland are using Bona sanders. I wonder if any of you has ever used a Lagler machine & why is so great?

Is anyone using a Predator engine for their truckmount?

I have a Honda engine in one of my Truckmounts. The engine has worked flawlessly for years, not one problem. I’m needing to replace the engine in my second truckmount and planned on putting a Honda in there as well. I happened to see an ad for a Predator engine which has identical specs but costs $1000 less.

So my question is has anyone actually used one of these predator engines? Are they any good or is this a case of “I’ll get what I pay for?” My gut says to spend the extra $1000 on a...

Prochem 650 HP heat exchanger question

Hi guys I have a Prochem 650 HP Truckmount machine with 7500 hours on it. There a 3 separate units inside the main heating unit. 2 are high pressure stainless steel heat exchangers and 1 low pressure copper exchanger. The maintenance manual says to get in there and clean off debris every 1,000 hours....

I have never cleaned them and now they have cracked/rusted apart and have water coming out of the exhaust. So I have ordered 3 new heat exchangers and waiting for them to come in.

Hi there, new member here -

My brother and I have been searching around for buisnesses to start, and we've discovered that there aren't that many carpet cleaners that service our area, so I've been entertaining the idea of starting a buisness, while I don't know a -ton- on the subject, I know the basics (like 100 hours of youtube videos haha) and I've enrolled in an IICRC class coming up in March, plus I plan on going on a couple of local ride alongs if possible.

Odd stains, any ideas?

I had another cleaner send me this picture. I’ve never seen stains like this on stairs before. My first thought was maybe there was a chair lift that leaked oil but there has never been a chair lift there. There is no odor and it doesn’t appear to be urine.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Any ideas on removal? The cleaner cleaned the stairs and applied peroxide with no change.

Truck mount issue

Hi, good afternoon.

I have a Steam Genie that is having some issues. My truck mount turns on really good in the morning but it looks like after letting it run for a while and turning it off and trying to turn it back on it will no longer turn on until i remove the air filter to give it some air after doing that it will turn on. Could it be the carburetor ?

Tcs Chief II sputter

I tried to attach a video but no luck. We have a chief 2 and when it's under load runs fine (wand on the carpet). But if I unhook attachment and have open hose end it starts to sputter almost sounds like the govener is cutting in and out? We've tried new plugs/ fuel pump and filter and air filter no luck. Sound familiar to anyone?

I was just doing repair and carpet stretching in homes where i was cleaning carpet. I am now going after more stretching and repair jobs and wanted to compare prices. What do you charge to stretch per room? What do you charge if you have to cut and repair a seam? What do charge for a patch?

Hey guys,
So lately ive been thinking about getting into the carpet cleaning business. However, I know nothing about it. Probably my biggest question would be what materials I need in order to get started. What would my initial investment be and what would be a good machine to buy for someone that is just starting? I know that machines can vary in pricing so Im curious as to what you guys would recommend. Also, when it comes to chemicals, are there any that you recommend as well?
