You have to diversify! I see so many companies that only offer carpet cleaning, Or they offer the standard upholstery and tile cleaning but they are walking right past thousands of dollars they could earn every time they setup to just do carpet or they schedule 3 carpet jobs in a day and dont have time for add ons.

Being able to do the other services that most companies do not offer sets me apart. When a client sees my marketing they are usually going to see a list of everything I can do...

not to sound arrogant, i doubt that i will hear any ideas that i have not already thought of.
I was using a helping about 80% of the time, and i had a love hate relationship with it,
Easier not doubt, more productive no doubt, but i also like not having any employees. so am gong back at least temporally to about 90% just me and 10% help when i need it. so i keep thinking of ideas that will make it not so back braking and more productive.

I've always wondered what everybodies go to chemical company is? For me it is Harvard Chemical Research. Why you ask? Bc I'm an Atlanta based cleaner, and they are an Atlanta based company so I try to support them. I also like their products. Just to name a couple I really like is their d-cide and de zov all. Great products. I'm not saying I use everything by them but 80-90 percent of my stuff is by them. So what's your favorite company and products from them?

I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Hydro force cx15. This is my third job with it.
My first shot was in apartment three small 10 x 10 bedrooms cut pile probably wasn't the best place to try it on.
Yesterday I did it in another restaurant but didn't take any pictures because it was black carpet but it came out really nice.
Today's job was a lot greasier but feel came out pretty well. The carpet was almost dry to touch when I left. The tool was also fairly great at edging. I used...

Any of you guys try this stuff. I got a sample from Zac @Presidential Cleaning and it was pretty good. Didn't much care for the taste however give me energy all day long. I definitely feel better this last week of taking it . I'm not one that usually takes energy drinks. If you read the ingredients of the bottle it's actually all healthy stuff. Not this junk that Redbull and five hour energy shots offer. It promotes health and energy The healthy way . Pretty good stuff....

Not sure if these people actually own one or not. I do not want to invest in a cimex for now as I do not do enough commercial carpet. What's The Longest Hose Run With A 400 psi Pump?

Hello again,

So, 2 x 3 stage parallel vacs can run 75 - 100 foot of 2 inch vac hose..

But, what about my 400 psi pump, is it capable of pushing the water that far do you think?

Also, will my in line heater lose a fair bit of heat traveling that far down the line? I'd imagine so..

Terrazo: Filling Holes from Tack Strips

I have a terrazo floor that had carpet laid into it with tack strips. They nailed them into the terrazo... silly people trying to give me money.

Anyhow, I need to fill them in. Does anyone have a recommendation for the type of epoxy to use? I will also need the terrazo chips to match. Where would I get something like that?

Then there is the problem of grinding it level the following day. Any guidance on this?

I would greatly appreciate it.

I cant tell you how many times i have had the float around in my head after walking away from some jobs,
at times i have lowed my price and others i have not.
Had a water damage job call today and i hate when they are not insurance jobs because the home owner wants to know the price up front and we all know that's very hard to do. we never know if its gong to take 2 day to dry out or 3 and what we may in counter along the way. and it was a landlord and...

What % of gross does your advertising run at?

Just checking my adwords status and getting ready for my meeting with the YP rep. Can't believe it that time again.
My month to date for adwords is running at 6% of gross sales for August. Of course some of the jobs booked came from referrals, previous clients etc but as I cannot be completely accurate with my numbers of each I figured next best thing is to do each advertising method individually as a % of gross sales.
As this is my first year of adwords and I only recently ramped it up...

What % of gross does your advertising run at?
